It took precious little light to change the dark.
A simple spark could alter what veiled eyes couldn’t see.
It took only a little to rip through the thickest emptiness.
And change the perspective of the immensity of things.
One small light to lead the way.
Or brighten a path.
Or point back to home.
It took precious little light to chase away darkness.
And only a breath to put out a flame.
Delicate things, both the renewing and undoing of a little fire.
